The Arrival of our Fat Labrador Retriever!

The excitement has been growing, and now the day is here – Maxo, our new labrador retriever, has arrived! The kids are thrilled, saying, “Wow, he’s big, Mom!” and “Bear, Bear!” Indeed, Maxo, the overweight labrador, looks even more obese than his picture showed.

Right away, it’s clear Maxo is going to be a great addition! He wags his tail, shows a huge grin, and wobbles his body. Maxo acts like an old friend, welcoming us warmly. Getting him into the car is a challenge, but we manage it. Maxo doesn’t even try to jump in, showing how hard it is for him to move.

“Bear, Bear!” the kids exclaim as Maxo waddles into our lives.

Welcoming Maxo, the dog rescue pup, to our home is exciting. We’re ready for the puppy antics and canine behavior that come with him. With patience and the right dog training, we believe Maxo will get healthier and happier.

25th September

Dealing with canine weight gain is a challenge, but Maxo’s arrival has filled our dog adoption home with joy. We’re excited to start this journey and help our new friend get healthy and well.

The Fat Labrador Diet Begins!

The day has finally arrived – we start Maxo’s fat labrador weight challenge! We carefully lift our overweight friend in and out of the car. Then, we head to the veterinary clinic for the dog scales.

At the clinic, with a bit of encouragement, Maxo steps onto the scales. We wait anxiously as the digital display shows the weight. Finally, it settles on the magic number – 45 kg or 99 pounds!

First Things First – A Fat Labrador Weight Check

It’s official – Maxo is clinically obese! He needs to lose nearly 38% of his weight to be in the healthy range of 28-30 kg (61-66 lbs). The canine obesity challenge has started. Now, we’re putting our dog weight management plan into action.

“Obesity is one of the most common nutritional disorders seen in labrador retrievers and other overweight dogs. A well-designed dog weight loss program, combined with proper canine diet and dog exercise, is essential for getting our furry friend back to a healthy weight.”

We know the road ahead won’t be easy, but we’re committed to helping Maxo regain his health. We’ll use a carefully-crafted dog nutrition plan and regular veterinary care. The healthy dog food journey starts now!

Overweight Labrador Weight Loss Mission on Track

We’re over the moon as the owners of our chubby Labrador retriever, Maxo. Our dog weight loss journey is going great. Maxo has lost an impressive 3.8 kg (8.4 lbs) in just a month. This puts him well on track to overcome canine obesity.

Our journey began with a veterinary care check-up. It was important to make sure Maxo was healthy. Then, we set up a plan for dog exercise and healthy dog food. Our vet suggested a diet with fewer calories and more exercise. Maxo has really taken to it.

Maxo is losing about 950 grams (2.1% of his starting weight) each week. He’s on his way to his goal weight of 30 kg by Christmas. Seeing our overweight dog become healthier and more active is amazing. It’s thanks to good dog weight management and our dedication.

“With the right veterinary care and dog exercise plan, even the most obese dog can achieve their ideal weight and enjoy a healthier, happier life.”

We’re excited to see Maxo’s progress and help other pet owners with canine obesity. Stay tuned for more updates on our Labrador retriever’s weight loss journey!

Halfway Towards Our Fat Labrador Weight Loss Goal!

We’ve hit a major milestone! Maxo, my dear Labrador retriever, has lost 8.3 kilograms (18 lbs) so far. He aims to lose 15 kg (33 lbs) total. Seeing his progress has been incredible!

Maxo used to be a big, lazy Labrador. Now, he’s lively, fit, and looks great! He’s no longer tired all the time. His breathing and skin health have improved, and he has lots more energy. He can even jump into the car by himself now. Maxo has been great about losing weight, and I’m so proud of him.

“Maxo is a true inspiration, and I’m excited to see him reach his goal weight and reclaim his vibrant, healthy self.”

I’m sure Maxo will keep doing well as we move forward. With the right food, exercise, and effort, he’ll hit his weight goal. Then, he’ll have a happier, healthier life.

Water Play and Swimming are Ideal Pastimes for a Fat Labrador!

As a proud Labrador parent, I’ve found that water play and swimming are great for my furry friend, Maxo. He’s an overweight pup who gets heat stress and gets tired easily. So, our hot climate is perfect for early morning and late evening creek dips to keep him cool and comfy.

Combining limited exercise with water fun has changed the game for Maxo’s weight loss. Our “Maxo family outings” are now a special time. We enjoy quality time together while he plays in the water. It’s a win-win, as the water keeps him cool and helps him stay fit.

Seeing Maxo’s tail wag with joy by the creek makes me smile. It’s a moment that eases my day and reminds me why I chose him as my dog. With water activities, I’m sure we’ll hit our weight loss goals soon. And we’ll make lasting memories together.
